Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea [north Korea] - >

These photograph's were taken in a visit to the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (D.P.R.K.) known to the western world as north Korea.

Much has been said, written and broadcasted of and about the D.P.R.K. but in truth little is known as it remains the most closed off country to the world, earning the name of 'The Hermit Kingdom'. Having lived in south Korea for over a year in the spring of 2007 I went to visit the D.P.R.K. to gain an understanding of the mind set that has been fashinable branded 'a brainwashed cult of Kim Jung IL' (the leader of the D.P.R.K.).
